Stephanie Matzen

Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Stephanie Matzen and I have been working as a team assistant at alpha portfolio advisors for two years. I really enjoy welcoming guests to our office and organising our colleagues' research trips. I live in Kronberg with my husband and three children and enjoy the advantages of the short distances here compared to Frankfurt.

Can you tell us something about your career path and how you came to alpha portfolio advisors?

After leaving school, I completed a banking apprenticeship at Bayerische Vereinsbank in Munich and then studied International Business Administration in Bad Waldsee. This was followed by positions at Süba Bauen und Wohnen GmbH and Fischer Smits & Collegen GmbH. In 2022, I then applied for a job at alpha portfolio advisors. As I am living in Kronberg, I was of course familiar with the historic locomotive shed and am happy to have arrived there over two years ago.

What feeling guides you?

Every day I am guided by the feeling that life is a gift. I am grateful to be part of the alpha team.

How do you find the right balance in life?

My life is in balance thanks to my varied work at alpha portfolio advisors, the intensive time with my family and my daily workout. In winter I love skiing, in summer I often go to the forest swimming pool and do my laps there.

In another life you would be...

...I would like to become a doctor because the idea of helping sick people would make me feel good.
