Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Lennard Pankok and I am an Investment Analyst at alpha portfolio advisors. As part of the manager selection process, I support the project team in the preparation and evaluation of quantitative and qualitative analyses, communication with the asset management companies and the preparation of presentation documents. I currently live in the heart of Frankfurt and enjoy city life to the fullest.

Can you tell us something about your career path and how you came to alpha portfolio advisors?

After graduating from high school in Münster, I moved to Aachen, where I studied Global Business and Economics at the University of Applied Sciences. During my studies, I took various courses in finance, including with Prof Dr Philipp Schmitz, who was able to further strengthen my interest in the financial markets and their interrelationships. This ultimately led to me writing my Bachelor's thesis under his supervision. After successfully completing my colloquium, he drew my attention to alpha portfolio advisors, where he works as a senior consultant alongside his teaching activities. I then applied directly - and have been part of the "alpha family" ever since.

What feeling guides you?

I strive to always give my best for our clients, only then can I look back with satisfaction at the end of the day.

How do you strike the right balance in life?

As a native of Münster, I naturally spend a lot of my free time on my bike, which I use to go on exciting discovery tours in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. When I'm not on my bike, I usually pursue my second great passion - photography. I am magically drawn to the search for the perfect motif or angle. The direct assessment of the results and the continuous improvement of my own skills that goes hand in hand with this is what I find most appealing.

What do you like about working at alpha portfolio advisors?

What I like most about my "working day" is that there is no real daily routine. Every day brings new tasks and challenges, which makes the work varied and exciting. The close collaboration with highly motivated colleagues, the strong team spirit and the global search for outstanding asset managers in their asset class drive me to give my best every day.
